We are a family owned business located in Danville, California, working passionately to bring you the ultimate gourmet cookie. After 20 years' experience working with retail food stores, fine restaurants, caterers and event planners, we craved something exciting and new when it came to gourmet gifts and event favors.  We tired of truffles, silver almonds and boxed chocolates, yet we found nothing original or imaginative that offered affordability or that personal touch you hope to have when giving a gift or fashioning that elegant table setting…

So, we followed our hearts (and appetites) and created Fortunate Cookies.  It took a year of recipe development, tasting, trialing and tribulating over hundreds of recipe variations... (Truly, it was a tough job!) At last, we got it perfect, outrageous, amazing!  You will love these cookies!
